Laboratory Assistant

**Role & Responsibilities**- To calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate analysis result- To perform testing- To perform daily process control testing, monitoring and ensure conformance to process parameters and product consistency.- To perform product analysis and physical testing- To perform water quality testing- To assist QA & RA Assistant to carry out experiment, observation, monitoring and data collection and compilation- To perform incoming raw material inspection according to specification and requirement.- To feedback and update to Lab Supervisor and Process Engineer if any incoming material not meeting the product specification- To adhere laboratory standard procedure and equipment maintenance per recommended practice.- Keep proper documentation and good laboratory practice.- To perform testing and instrument according to standard procedure.- To compile critical parameters results daily and monthly into softcopy- Perform data entry on test results- To perform lab housekeeping per 5S concept and support safety policy, PPE, environment policy and continuous improvement**Qualification & Requirements**- Lab Assistant - SPM / STPM (Science Stream) or Lab Technician - Diploma in Science, Chemistry or related discipline;- On-job training will be provided;- Diligent, discipline, efficient, productive;- Exercise caution, precise / accurate, systematic, observant, attentive to detail;- Adhere or compliant to the procedures, guidelines, rules and regulations.Schedule:- Monday to Friday
