JOB DESCRIPTION: LANDSCAPE MANAGER - MAINTENANCE & PRODUCTION
Highly detailed individual who thrives in organising & managing multiple people, tasks & priorities in an efficient way. Divisional leader who is knowledgeable in all aspects of Landscape Maintenance & Production and accountable to meeting and raising budgets and company goals.
Ensure production standards are being met with quality control & training visits.
Verify previous job costing and charge to dedicated department cut centre by the assistance of office clerk.
Treat plant diseases, insects and soil born problems with proper recommendations.
Analyse job costing reports to give feedback to crew leaders for improvements.
Proactive communication with department colleagues in relation to service schedule, trouble shooting & requests.
Create & constantly update service schedules for crew members daily.
Updates Vice President on progress of maintenance and staff developments.
Ensuring machineries and equipments are well maintained and request for additional when required.
Assist in hiring, training and disciplining of team members & report to HR department when required.
Ensure that all safety procedures and safety programs are followed.
Report and record all accidents, work injuries and property damage complaints.
Coordinate the purchasing, staging, delivery and use of materials.
Lead weekly staff meeting and daily huddles for the maintenance division.
Participate in strategic planning and company initiatives.
Provide recommendations for pricing, equipment, growing materials to maximise efficiency.
Work with Curation team to direct, supervise and dispatch team members to assist on projects installation.
Set the pace to ensure man hour budgets are met and efficiency is maximised.
Provide daily route sheets, crew goals and maintain all company procedure checklists.
Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the field, vehicles, nursery and work sites.
Practices sustainable and responsible landscape & farming activities.
Ensure working environment is in adherence to safety policies and guidelines.
Conduct training of field staff on all maintenance equipment.
Investigate all accidents or safety violations with team supervisors, prepare appropriate reports, take action to correct and prevent future occurrences.
Respond to customer complaints ensuring proper handling to achieve excellent Client satisfaction.
Review finished work of all contractors and Subcontractors to confirm work and cleanup is performed to contract specifications together with project team.
Maintain inventory of materials, equipment and supplies to assure uninterrupted production levels.
Ensures department heads keep monthly inventory of landscape maintenance materials and advise team supervisors when materials are needed.
Monitors on irrigation and lighting controller programming for each landscape & production farms.
Setting up SOPs for new projects together with project team and location of lighting and Irrigation controllers, water shut off devices, gate codes and emergency contacts.
To develop and execute ESG initiatives together with VP.
