Job Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities:Perform duties as lead auditor/auditor reporting to QHSE Technical Manager.
Support market expansion in East Malaysia, particularly Sarawak.
Identify opportunities and share with the sales team to follow up.
Assimilate, understand, and operate the BUREAU VERITAS CERTIFICATION Management System.
Control the overall performance of audit activities, including planning, review, and the control of other members of the audit team.
Make necessary decisions during audits and recommend the presentation or otherwise of a certificate of approval.
Decide upon evidence gained during audits whether certification should be granted or allowed to continue.
Assist in the training of other Auditors and Lead Auditors during planned audits or other training functions.
Maintain all current Memberships and Registrations applicable to the post.
Undertake any other activities as directed by the TM.
Progressive Responsibilities:Assist in recruiting subcontractors in East Malaysia to support audit needs, depending on schemes not limited to QHSE only.
Participate in the business growth plan with sales and operations.
Any other task assigned from time to time by the company that is within capabilities and competency.
Job Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of working experience in the industry.
Lead Auditor Qualification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Background (at least 1 year working experience) in construction, shipbuilding, metal, electrical, and equipment manufacturing respectively.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Resourcefulness in identifying talents and fostering industrial partnerships.
Passion for driving excellence and a strong drive for growth.
Comfort working in a strong service environment, with excellent interpersonal, written, and general communication skills.
Ability to effectively persuade and influence others.
Ability to negotiate with Non-Exclusive hires.
Self-motivated and independent, with effective execution power.
The salary for this role is estimated to be between RM80,000 - RM120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
