About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to join our team at Teluk Kalong Industrial Estate in Kemaman Terengganu. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Manage the procurement process for capital projects, including budgeting, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.
Oversee the procurement of high-value goods and services, negotiating favorable terms and conditions to optimize cost savings and minimize supply chain disruptions.
Develop and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Implement effective inventory management practices to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, fostering collaboration and transparency to drive long-term strategic partnerships.
Requirements:Minimum 8 years of experience in Procurement/Project Procurement.
Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain or any related field.
Ability to read and understand technical documentation, with good spreadsheet skills.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to drive favorable outcomes in contract negotiation and resolve conflicts.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
