Lead, Clinical Waste Business (Bangsar South)

Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities:Sales & Marketing
Collaborate with business development and project teams in tender exercises, market analysis, industry / competitor forecasts and regulatory compliance activities.
Develop and deliver comprehensive sales performance reports to senior management.
Leverage data and analytics to pinpoint areas for improvement and execute corrective actions.
Ensure precise forecasting and effective pipeline management.
Provide after-sales support to maintain excellent customer service standards.
Revenue Generation
Drive initiatives to increase revenue by enlarging market reach and engaging strategic third-party agents and transporters.
Champion and establish partnerships with capable players to bolster capacity and unlock new market opportunities by leading partnership negotiations with logistics providers, enhancing market coverage and operational capacity.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services, including but not limited to training courses, consultation services, or recycling solutions.
Monitor sales metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with the Business Planning & Development team in matters relating to the Group Procurement & Contract Management and Legal departments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including but not limited to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and pharmaceutical companies, as well as relevant regulatory bodies such as DOE, JKKP, MOH, MOF, and others.
Understand client needs and provide customized solutions to meet clients' clinical waste management requirements.
Maintain relationships with key clients through regular visits, understanding their needs, and identifying new marketing opportunities.
Serve as the escalation point for client concerns, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
Team Management
Guide, coach, and mentor the team to successfully achieve both individual and collective KPIs.
Motivate team performance to achieve and surpass revenue targets.
Provide user/client training on clinical waste management solutions, market trends, and compliance regulations.
Monitor team performance metrics, goals and strategies alignment.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree specialised in any related field; Environmental Management is an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within waste management or environmental services.
Demonstrated experience in leading a team and driving revenue growth.
Certification as a Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management is an added advantage, especially for conducting user/client training.
Competence on revenue, sales & marketing strategy, client acquisition, revenue generation, business growth, and client relationship management.
Understanding of regulatory bodies (e.g., DOE, JKKP, MOH) and industry standards in clinical waste management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
