Facilitate risk and safety assessment workshops within BV Malaysia and SEA region.
Conduct formal safety assessment studies, including Quantitative Risk Assessment and more.
Facilitate risk workshops such as HAZID/ENVID and others.
Prepare/review safety instrumented function summary and formal safety assessments reports.
Guide the team in modeling software and supervise safety cases preparation.
Review safety studies reports and perform fire protection studies.
Lead project activities and deliverables according to the project schedule.
Prepare technical proposals for Risk and Safety assessment studies.Other Responsibilities:
Assist BV Business Development in preparing proposals and marketing of BV products.
Represent Bureau Veritas on related exhibitions/committees/work groups.
Provide internal training to engineers and support task delegation to the team.
Develop good working relationships with clients and deliver effective technical solutions.
Perform scope screening at the initiation of bidding activities.Job Requirements:
Degree in Chemical Engineering; preferably a Master's in Safety Engineering.
Certification as a Functional Safety Engineer/Professional is an advantage.
Chartered Engineer or professional accreditation preferred.
Minimum 3 years consultancy experience in a similar position.
10-15 years working experience in risk and safety studies for oil and gas, petrochemical industries.
Experience with major operators in the region is valued.Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:
Proven experience in a Risk & Safety Engineering role.
Ability to facilitate Technical Safety Reviews and develop AI PSM roadmap.
Strong ethics and integrity, capable of leading a team of consultants.
