Your key responsibilities
Ensure deliveries are executed in a Timely and Right First Time manner to foster customer satisfaction, and pro-actively communicate delivery related information and mitigation plans (where appropriate) to stakeholders.
Ensure Transport Service Providers operate in Safe and Compliance (Quality and Business) fashion.
Review, develop, monitor, and enforce the appropriate Service Level Agreement with Service Providers.
Engage internal and external stakeholders to align operational imperatives and deliverables.
Develop necessary logistic reports, records and KPIs and ensure effective implementation, develop, and maintain SOPs and ensure SOPs are followed through.
Initiate and manage projects related to service, efficiency and/or savings improvements and drive all team members to engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives for their respective area of responsibility.
Direct and coordinate the distribution from external warehouse to destination site based on incoterms.
Review escalation of issues from customers or shippers and reviews complaints regarding storage and distribution services.
Review and update freight pricing from forwarders in system as well as managing any form of price discrepancy with forwarders.
Superuser for distribution related issues in SAP for APAC.

You bring
Degree holder majoring in Supply Chain or business-related discipline.
Minimum 10 years relevant experience in International/cross border logistics.
Display good leadership, positive mindset and exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills.
Accountability to decision-making, ensuring alignment with our values and achieving positive outcomes.

This is an 18-month contract role based in Mapletree Business City Pasir Panjang.
