Key Responsibilities:Lean System Support:Assist with activities on the Weir Lean system, focusing on site lean assessment criteria and the WINS program.Work with Operations & Support teams to analyze, administer, and execute Lean-oriented activities.Project Coordination:Coordinate the progress of Lean projects that significantly improve business performance.Track all projects on Policy Deployment and coordinate monthly updates.Work with Finance to track all project numerical savings and ensure reconciliation in accounts.Data Management and Reporting:Act as the information gatherer during Gemba walks, taking pictures, noting observations, and compiling them into proper presentations with action items communicated to respective PICs.Ensure all KPI data are always up-to-date and alert the Lean Manager when KPIs are off-track.Prepare reports promptly after activities or meetings conducted by the Lean Manager or team, storing them for future reference.Continuous Improvement:Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to drive monthly Kaizens.Update Value Stream Mapping and create Value Stream Mapping Information in all areas with velocity and lead time improvement.Maintain monthly Overall Equipment Effectiveness updates to measure machine productivity.Monitor and eliminate waste through effective waste management.Track variances between Actual and Standard times for all items.Training and Facilitation:Facilitate Lean training for employees, monitor and track their assignment completion, and maintain a master list of training completion.Conduct Kaizen Events with cross-functional departments for process improvements.Utilize the Kaizen Register to update and share monthly Kaizen initiatives with other Weir Minerals divisions globally.Audit and Compliance:Perform own Gemba walks with Lean reps to ensure all KPI boards are up-to-date and Value Stream Mapping is actively used.Conduct audits to check Lean standards in operations and notify the Lean Manager for escalation if required.Documentation and Communication:Maintain an activity log and documentation, preparing and presenting reports.Coordinate updates on the Performance Board in the Meeting Room.Develop the Waste Projection on an annual basis.Optimize layout and floor space when relocating machines for better access and movement.· Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
