We need an experienced learning designer who can take the initiative in analysing client needs, drive the high-level design solution, and work with our team to storyboard and deliver the results.
What you'll be doing:
Leading the design and development of innovative learning solutions that create real impact for our clients
Working with clients, subject matter experts and our internal expertise to scope and design learning solutions
Leading the Discovery phase of common learning projects.
Collaborating with and informally lead others in the project team (internal LXDs, Junior LXDs, digital designers, external contractors) to bring to life the vision for the learning experience.
Building strong working relationships with clients and subject matter experts to ensure a smooth design and development process.
Ensuring all deliverables meet the required quality standards at each stage of the design and development process
Collaborating with digital designers to identify and utilise the most appropriate technology and delivery medium for the learning solution
Creating high-level designs and concepts; map the learning journey and develop concept deliverables with clear links to learning outcomes
RequirementsAs an ideal candidate you will:
Be highly collaborative, agile and flexible
Have strong writing and communication skills
Proven experience at conducting needs analysis and designing solutions for both simple and complex projects
Relevant post-graduate or specialist qualification (e.g. National Certificate in Adult Education Level IV or V)
Relevant work experience at a learning consultant level, preferably in corporate L&D
