**JOB PURPOSE**Specific duties of a lecturer may include:- Main teaching responsibilities**:English Language.**:- Preparation and delivery of lectures and seminars- Conducting tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, etc. as required by the education process and degree program- Initiation and development of course material, with appropriate advice from and support of more senior staff- Supervision of major senior undergraduate (final year) and postgraduate research projects- Setting of assessment and marking of student assignments and examinations- Consultation with students, including academic counseling and pastoral caring- A range of administrative functions, the majority of which are connected with the courses in which the academic teaches, but may also include responsibilities that relate to research, education, School and Faculty development- Represent the Faculty and work in collaboration with the University's Marketing Team in student recruitment nationally and internationally**JOB SPECIFICATION**- Master's Degree and above, in a relevant discipline from a recognized education institution, with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience- Capability to provide quality teaching (at undergraduate and postgraduate level) in the specified discipline and other related areas- Basic English proficiency is required- Evidence of well-developed interpersonal and communication skills- Evidence of having the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team- Willingness to implement the University's policies, rules and procedures- Evidence in providing consulting and training services as well as willingness to develop and deliver continuing education programs for practicing professionals for their personal and professional developments**Benefits**:- Additional leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to Friday
