To deliver student-centred lessons in accordance with the approved syllabi and scheme of work for subjects assigned.
To develop, review and update notes, schemes of work and syllabi from time to time to reflect current practice.
To prepare assessment questions together with appropriate marking schemes in a timely fashion and grade all assignments, tests, tutorials, projects, examinations, etc.
to evaluate students' academic performance.
To have experience in preparing materials related to the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) requirements.
To provide pastoral care, support, and academic counselling to students.
To maintain discipline among students during teaching sessions.
To communicate effectively with students and colleagues to ensure efficient and effective teaching.
To perform administrative tasks, including planning, management, and evaluation of a specific field of duty.
To follow all the requirements of the University and regulatory authorities such as Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
To collaborate with the industry for student activities.
To perform other tasks and duties as directed by the University from time to time.
Requirements:
Holding a master's degree in social sciences or related field.
Having a minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching related courses and attending Training of Trainers (TOT) for the courses.
Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills with strong command of spoken and written English and Malay.
Able to provide students with a professional learning environment that supports academic, personal, and professional success.
Positive attitude towards work and people.
Passionate about education, self-starter & a team player.
