Responsibilities:
Ensure all program members assist students by advising and providing current, complete and accurate information; improvements techniques.
Conduct curriculum and program evaluations continually using continuous process.
Lead activities related to accreditation (MQA, ISO etc.).
Give lectures for respective subjects within the program.
Cross-teach with other programs if services are needed.
Coordinate tutorial sessions for students.
Prepare a 'table of specifications' for examination questions.
Formulate exam questions.
Moderate question papers prepared by lecturers before submission to Exam Department.
Mark students' answer scripts.
Be a member of the Subject Specialist Group (SSG).
Check and sign students' log books achievements each semester after placement.
Compile exam marks and submit them to Exam Unit.
Conduct a mentor-mentee system.
Monitor students' attendance and absenteeism.
Check students' excuse forms.
Assist in student affairs matters (discipline, attitude and morals).
Maintain a neat, well-organized and safe work environment.
Assist Head of Department in developing the meeting agenda.
Monitor students' involvement with extracurricular programs.
Undertake any reasonable ad hoc assignments as may be directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
Monitor students' academic progress.
Be a member of the curriculum development committee.
Qualifications:
At least a Bachelor's/Master's degree in the related fields.
At least 3 years of teaching experience in diploma and degree programmes.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and use of computers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
