Lecturer - School of Nursing and Allied HealthResponsible for undertaking teaching, research, scholarly activities, and academic development.
Provide direction, leadership, and day-to-day management of educational activities.
Conduct clinical assessment/practical examination or Objective Structured Clinical Examination when due.
Participate in continuous nursing education in the hospital setting.
Perform any other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Monitor the student report progress in terms of academic performance and attendance.
Set the examination papers and maintain quality standards.
Provide student support activities such as tutorials, mentoring, and educational counselling sessions.
Participate in curriculum review and accreditation process.
Observe nursing students in clinical posting if necessary.
Assist in marketing activities to promote nursing programs.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor in Nursing and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
A registered nurse with the Nursing Board of Malaysia.
Possess post-basic qualifications, preferably in renal, perioperative, critical care, neonatal, and oncology.
Minimum of 5 years clinical working experience as a registered nurse.
Possess a teaching methodology certificate is an added advantage.
Note: This is a 2-year contractual position on a renewable basis.
