Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate courses in music production, sound design, and related areas.
Supervise student projects and dissertations.
Contribute to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and programme innovation.
Conduct research and contribute to the School's research portfolio.
Actively engage in academic and professional development activities.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with industry partners.
Requirements:
A PhD (or significant progress toward completion) in Music Technology, Sound Design, or a related field.
Proven track record in tertiary-level teaching and curriculum development.
Expertise in music production techniques, including mixing, mastering, and post-production.
High technical proficiency in one or more musical instruments.
Strong understanding of audio design (game), sound design (film), and interactive audio systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Industry experience in music production, sound design, or related creative fields.
A creative portfolio showcasing artistic and professional achievements.
Experience in supervising postgraduate students.
A strong track record of research and peer-reviewed publications.
Established connections with industry professionals.
