Legal And Compliance Counsel

Job Description: 
Assist with drafting and reviewing various agreements and other legal documentations across all the company's business areas to safeguard the company's legal interest. Provide legal advice and suggestions to support business development initiatives. Develop and maintain standardized contract templates, ensuring they remain up-to-date and legally sound. Assist in managing litigation and compliance matters. Liaise with external counsels, regulators and government authorities as necessary. Monitor and analyze changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the company's practice align with the current legal requirements. Regularly brief the internal stakeholders on significant legal and regulatory developments which may affect the business. Conduct training for all employees in relation to internal Legal SOP and law and regulations requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned. Job Requirements: 
At least a Bachelor's Degree in law or equivalent. At least 2-3 years of working experience in in-house or private practice. Work experience in Logistic or transportation industry is an added advantage. Experience in corporate commercial or contract works. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage. Strong sense of responsibility, enthusiastic and positive attitude. Able to work under pressure.
