Position Responsibilities
-Advise internally on legal issues on a daily basis: Use of word(s) for documentation such as agreements and Company policies and Legal processes and solutions for legal matters and disputes.
-Contracts/Agreements drafting and review in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
-Explore all legal angles that could be beneficial to the Company.
-Conduct legal analysis and research legal matters of the Company.
-Update and follow up relevant laws and regulations related to the Company.
-Prepare and maintain standard agreements (NDA, labor matters, consulting, administrative agreements, etc.).
-Testify when needed, attend to court-related matters, and provide testimony to government agencies.
-Collect and check accuracy of legal documents received by law firms/outsourced agencies.
-Coordinate legal matters with outsourced agencies (Civil, Criminal, Employment Cases).
-Prepare briefings/reports of litigation to the Management along with proposed solutions for each legal case.

; Requirements:- Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelor's degree in Law.
-Experienced in Civil, Criminal, and Employment laws.
-At least 8-10 years of experience in corporate legal work at a law firm and/or in a legal division.
-Knowledge of commercial contracts, labor, intellectual property, data protection, law practices, applicable document development processes, legal records and procedures.
-Three years of experience in drafting legal and business documents.
-Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
-Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor.
