1. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Internal Governance
To coordinate with the Human Resource Department in establishing policies and to monitor compliance.
To conduct yearly training and briefing on the policies established.
To ensure patent applications are renewed in a timely manner and payment is made to the respective patent agent accordingly.
To coordinate with the respective patent agent on amendment of claims.
B. Contracts Management
To draft and review commercial contracts and ensure the terms are in the best interest of the company.
To assist relevant departments in negotiation of contracts.
To conduct legal risk assessments and to confirm risks.
C. Investor Relation & Public Relation
To coordinate with IR/PR agents to ensure strategic communication of the company's affairs and image to the public.
To update and maintain the organization's corporate profile and corporate governance on digital content in Facebook, LinkedIn, and the company's website.
D. Litigation Support
To gather and compile relevant evidence for litigation suits.
To coordinate with external counsel.
E. Sustainability
To coordinate with external sources on matters related to sustainability reporting.
To collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into decision-making processes.
F. Corporate
To prepare content for the Annual Report, including the Letter to Shareholders, preparation of slides for the Annual General Meeting, and other corporate copywriting materials.
To organize CSR-related activities throughout the year.
To handle ad hoc duties assigned by the CEO and/or COO whenever necessary.
To handle other business/marketing-related tasks assigned by superiors whenever required.
To communicate with and manage any third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors.
To monitor the legal department budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Law and Commerce.
Experience:
At least2 yearsas anin-house counsel , preferably in manufacturing.
