Key Responsibilities
Delivery Coordination:Schedule and coordinate the delivery of solar panels and inverters to customer locations, ensuring that all materials are on-site before the scheduled installation day.
Liaise with logistics partners to arrange the most efficient and safe delivery routes and times.
Communicate delivery schedules to internal teams, including installation managers and contractors.Partner Communication & Management:Maintain close working relationships with logistics partners to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
Negotiate delivery timelines and troubleshoot any scheduling conflicts or disruptions.Problem Solving & Issue Resolution:Quickly respond to and resolve issues such as faulty materials or missed delivery windows.
Arrange additional truck rolls or alternative transport solutions when necessary to prevent installation delays.
Maintain a contingency plan for unexpected delivery disruptions.Documentation & Reporting:Keep accurate records of delivery schedules, completed deliveries, and any issues that arise.
Prepare and submit reports on delivery performance, delays, and problem resolutions to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager.
Track inventory status and provide updates on material availability for upcoming installations.Safety & Compliance:Ensure that all deliveries comply with safety standards and regulations.
Work with logistics partners to guarantee the safe handling and transport of solar panels and inverters.Skills & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with logistics partners and internal teams.
Organization: Exceptional organizational skills to manage schedules, coordinate deliveries, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly and develop solutions for unexpected delivery issues.
Time Management: Excellent time management skills to meet tight schedules and deadlines.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with inventory management systems is beneficial.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in delivery scheduling and documentation.
