Job Responsibilities:Responsible to ensure an efficient and effective operations of the shipping routine by ensuring compliance to all relevant procedures and directives adopted by the Company and Voith Group.
Responsible to organize, plan and manage the shipping schedule for all Company's products and ensure that the products reach the customer on the required delivery dates and the CSR are duly informed of delay or potential delay to the shipment.
Responsible to prepare and ensure that all shipping and collection documents are accurate and correct to safeguard the Company from any shipping related risk and highlight potential risk for further review and approval.
Responsible to ensure that the product is shipped with the relevant shipping document; shipping of product from manufacturing site in EMEA, NA & APAC to APAC market and vice versa.
Understanding incoterm is a must.
Responsible to co-ordinate with CSR, manufacturing site shipping liaison, salesperson/agent and Bank.
Responsible to prepare the relevant invoices for the Company's products to all external customers and Interco sales.
Responsible to liaise with customs authority for coordination for local sales and export of the Company's products.
Responsible to ensure that all company's products are fully insured, insurance claims are duly processed and filed to minimize the Company risk of losses.
Responsible to develop relevant shipping controls required to address weaknesses in the operation systems of the Company.
Responsible to streamline the irrelevant procedure/request/documentation, etc.

Responsible to digitalize manual procedure, documentation, etc.
to further reduce manual work.
Responsible to prepare monthly shipping cost analysis report and any ad hoc report when required.
Notwithstanding the above stated job descriptions there would be other relevant responsibilities and duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by your Supervisor to suit the business environment.
You are responsible to instill directives adopted by Voith Group and the Company and actively promote inter-departmental relationships within the Company and between companies within the Voith Group of Companies.
Responsible for instilling and ensuring that safety and health policy is practiced.
You may be required to perform your duties overseas and travel to the locations where your expertise is required and/or upon request by the Company.
Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Shipping & Logistics or its equivalent.
Min of 2 years of experience in the Shipping & Logistics field, with expertise in export operations, including handling letter of Credit (LC).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with a demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize task requirements.
The ability to work under pressure involves dealing with constraints which are often outside of your control - these might be resource or time constraints, the difficulty of the task or having insufficient knowledge required to complete the task, or unforeseen changes or problems.
Proficient in English is essential and other languages would be an added advantage.
Prior experience in the manufacturing industrial.
Must be a hands-on person and a team player.
