Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage and oversee the day-to-day logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers, managing inventories, coordinating shipments, and optimizing the overall supply chain process.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery of goods from vendors to warehouses or customers.
Monitor stock levels, track inventory movements, and ensure appropriate stock replenishment to meet customer demand.
Liaise with suppliers, shipping companies, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Prepare and review all necessary shipping documentation (e.g., shipping manifests, bills of lading, customs declarations) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Evaluate and optimize logistics costs by identifying opportunities for improved operational efficiency and cost reduction.
Address and resolve any logistics issues, including delays, damages, and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain and provide accurate reports on logistics activities, including shipping performance, inventory levels, and transportation costs.
Communicate with internal teams and customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and resolving any shipment-related issues.
Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
Proficient in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other supply chain management tools), MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Understanding of logistics regulations, supply chain management, transportation procedures, and international shipping (if applicable).
Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze and optimize logistics operations for cost efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with external vendors, internal teams, and customers.
Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in warehouse management or inventory control.
Knowledge of customs and import/export regulations.
