Monitor and expedite the processing and delivery of the purchase orders to ensure timely receipt of goods and services, minimizing supply chain disruptions and delays2.
Maintain regular communication with suppliers to track order status, resolve delivery issues, and coordinate shipment schedules, fostering positive relationships and optimizing supplier performance.3.
Plan and coordinate logistic activities, including transportation, warehousing and distribution, to ensure efficient movement of goods from/to suppliers while minimizing costs and maximizing service levels.4.
Monitor inventory levels, reconcile discrepancies, and manage stock replenishment to maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce carrying cost, and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.5.
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirement, transportation laws, maintaining accurate documentation and records for audit and regulatory purposes.6.
Evaluate supplier performance based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, quality, and responsiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.7.
Identify cost saving opportunities in procurement and logistic operations, such as consolidating shipments, negotiating favorable freight rates, or optimizing inventory management practices to achieve cost efficiencies.8.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks in procurement and logistics operations, such as supply chain disruptions, transportation delays, or quality issues, implementing contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.9.
CDrive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and logistic processes, leveraging technology, automation, and best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance.
