ParticularsJob Title: Logistic Officer/ executiveDepartment/Section: Logistic DepartmentImmediate Superior: Sr Logistic and Planning ExecutiveJob HighlightsWe offer good salary, allowances and yearly bonuses.We promote positive and harmonious work environment.We provide platform for growth and career advancement.Job Responsibilities:Prepare an accurate monthly and yearly report for submission to the LMW Customs Officer in a timely manner.Perform compliance audit on permits and forms associated with the LMW regulationsManage internal and external parties to ensure smooth execution of shipments (Import, Export and Local).Liaise and negotiate with forwarder, suppliers and customers.Meet cost, productivity, and accuracy and timeliness targetsOverseeing incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and conditions of shipments.Work closely with Government related agencies to ensure the company comply with all rules and regulation and product registration policy.Plan and monitor shipment to ensure shipping deadlines are met, advice / feedback to customers, planners, purchasers or relevant departments on delivery schedule.Make proper planning and arrangement for all the import and export shipments and ensure timely clearance for all the shipments.Responsible for proper filing and documentation system in order to comply with Audit requirements.Qualifications & Experience:Able to work in Kulim Hi-Tech Industry (Kedah)3-5 Year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Critical thinking and complex problem solvingMust be well verse in import and export procedure and custom practicesDetail oriented and foundational understanding of import and export processes.Able to build rapport and negotiate with Vendors and Customers.Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent.
