Logistics Cum Purchasing Assistant

Responsibilities:
Support in sourcing suppliers, gathering quotes, preparing purchase orders, and following up on order fulfillment to ensure business needs are met.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and help monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Assist with receiving, ensuring they match purchase orders.
Help coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely distribution of goods.
Manage transportation logistics, ensuring timely delivery of goods and optimize delivery routes and methods.
Assist in maintaining documentation and provide regular updates and reports to the supervisor.
Support the resolution of issues such as discrepancies or delays in deliveries, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
Provide clerical assistance to teams, handle incoming calls and inquiries, and perform other assigned tasks from superiors.
Job Requirements:
Possess at least a Diploma or equivalent qualification.
At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
or any other systems.
Solid verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to apply critical thinking and maintain a positive attitude.
