Logistics Executive

Responsibilities:
Analyse and evaluate logistics processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Oversee transportation operations, including scheduling, routing, and tracking of shipments.
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with carriers and transportation providers.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
Manage warehousing operations, including storage, inventory control, and order fulfilment.
Ensure warehouse operations are efficient, organized, and comply with safety and quality standards.
Monitor and analyse logistics costs and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, including key metrics and financial summaries.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving logistics-related issues and complaints.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including sales & procurement teams.
Provide timely and accurate updates on shipment status and delivery schedules.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards related to logistics and supply chain management.
