To coordinate, plan, and expedite daily truck bookings for loading & unloading to & from customers, suppliers, and inter-company requests, including urgent requests.
Daily system updates on truck confirmations and truck number registration in the system for loading.
Manage multiple tasks to ensure smooth operations, including coordinating shipments, managing customer returns, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Follow up with external providers on ad hoc cases and report additional costs incurred to related parties for consent to proceed.
Analyze data to identify root causes and take prompt action and escalation when needed.
Handle truck arrangements for return goods and return pallet collection.
POD review and follow up with transporters to resolve issues.
Maintain effective communication with team members and external providers.
Participate in Kaizen.
Other tasks and duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
Job Responsibilities:Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics Planning, or Warehouse-related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of Logistics Planning/Warehouse experience.
Experience with ERP or Fleet Management is an advantage.
Ability to efficiently allocate cognitive resources in accomplishing tasks.
Willingness to work in Taiping, Perak.
