We are looking for a reliable and committed Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall inbound and outbound activities. Also responsible for overall logistics efficiency improvement activities and reducing transportation cost in totality. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the establishment of logistics operating and activities procedures to ensure the timely and accurate delivery, high accuracy of inventory and high productivity/efficiency workforces in the safest and effective way.
Resolve any arising problems or complaints pertaining to logistics matters.
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Inventory control, stock tagging and tracking, and ensure all the stocks are keyed into our internal system in a proper manner.
Follow up and control the stock arrangement with the warehouse.
To liaise with forwarding agents and all government bodies on export/import permit applications.
To perform customs clearance for import and export shipments.
To coordinate and present logistics support to ongoing land, air, and sea operations.
To ensure accountable, timely, and cost-effective release of peacekeeping cargo along with personnel.
Responsible for receiving and preparing orders, arranging logistics for delivery service.
To maintain continuity of supply, preventing interruption of the flow of material and service to users.
Interface with factory personnel, purchasing personnel, sales personnel, and related parties on material status, production plan issues, delivery schedule, etc.
Identify and address material shortages, machine malfunctions, and other factory problems.
Review production output performance against plan at regular intervals, and determine recovery plans if necessary.
Supervise, coach, and train logistics workforce.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or transportation.
Proven working experience in a managerial position for at least 5 years.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Record of successful distribution and logistics fleet management.
Possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
Possess strong leadership, self-motivated, aggressive, result-oriented with a good positive working attitude.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask, organized, good time management & negotiation skills.
