We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Manager to lead our Planning, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with internal control policies, and driving employee development. This role is crucial in optimizing our supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products while adhering to industry standards such as TS16949 and ISO14001.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Purchasing/Sourcing: Lead, mentor, and empower the purchasing team.Conduct periodic sourcing for suppliers and vendors for price comparison and alternatives.Manage procurement of direct and indirect materials efficiently.Collaborate with the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) department for supplier assessment and performance tracking.Execute supplier management, including sourcing, selection, qualification, evaluation, and development of key local suppliers.Ensure compliance with procurement processes in line with company policies and regulations, including import/export and customs regulations.Maintain and compile records supporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).2. Warehouse Management: Oversee the management of finished goods and raw materials in internal and external warehouses.Plan and execute regular cycle counts and periodic stock counts to maintain stock accuracy.Implement 5S principles within the warehouse.Ensure fulfillment of customer requirements according to delivery plans and production schedules.Develop and enforce inventory control procedures.Ensure compliance with TS16949 and ISO14001 procedures in warehouse operations.Maintain and implement ERP system requirements consistently.3. Planning: Monitor and control production efficiency, including quality, productivity, and yield.Ensure strict adherence to product specifications and standard operating procedures.Generate monthly Material Requirement Planning (MRP) reports based on customer requirements.Establish effective communication with local and overseas suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and forecasts.Advise logistics personnel on changes in customer demands and requirements.4. Project Implementation: Ensure efficient and timely deployment of all projects in collaboration with the Account Manager and relevant departments.Coordinate cross-functionally within the organization to achieve project deadlines and deliverables.Understand the commercial and strategic importance of each business unit.Ensure on-time delivery in alignment with customer requirements.Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the automotive industry.Strong understanding of automotive industry figures and trends.Proficient in computer applications and ERP/SAP systems.Excellent planning and organizational skills.Proactive, motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong initiative to drive tasks to completion.Exceptional communication skills with a positive attitude.Why Join Us?
