Company Profile Established in 2012 in Johor, Malaysia, JK Schelkis Offshore Sdn Bhd  (JKS in short), has been offering a complete range of logistics services, including road freight, sea freight, air freight and warehousing, for the past 12 years.
JKS provides total 3PL services to its valued customers. JKS is operating its own fleet of trucks. Our land trucking coverage includes whole of Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and up to Thailand. 
JKS is a growing company. We grow the team, as well as our customer base. Started with oil & gas and offshore logistics, over the years, JKS has expanded its logistics assistance to other industries such as construction, precast fabrication, marine, e- commerce and many more.

Responsibilities of Operations Manager: 1. Manage the Fleet Operations Department. Comprising of Executives, Coordinators, Supervisors, drivers, operators, clerks and general workers.  
2. Overseas all operations jobs, performed by the department (Land Transport/ Freight ). Ensure the completion of jobs/delivery as per committed to customers.
3. Assignment and instruction to department staffs, transporters, vendors & carriers.
4. Coordinate and Communicate with Driver/ Client/ Vendors/ Forwarder for all logistics aspect shipment update.
5. Vendor management & Downline management. Hiring of staffs, drivers. Cost control & budgeting.
6. Able to maintain and achieve the given sales target and KPI for the department.
7. Ensure business continuity plan, is in place at all times. 
8. Ensure closing of jobs, on time, after completion of shipment.
9. Manage the maintenance team, and staffs, for the truck general maintenance/break down.
10. Reports to Operations Director.
Requirement 1.  Minimum Degree, in relevant fields (Business, Logistics, Supply chain, Science, Engineering and etc)
2. Extensive knowledge & experience, in land trucking operations.
3. Knowledge of sea & air freight are addition.
4. Ability and experience in managing staffs and downline.
5. Work towards achieving company goals and target.
6. Team builder, a leader Ability to bring out the best from the team.
7. Ensure harmony and positive work environment, for the growth of staffs and department.
8. MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook Email, Office 365)
9. Working days: 5 ½ Days /Week
10. Minimum 7 years of experience in similar capacity
 
Able to start immediately or maximum of 3 months' notice.
