Logistics Specialist

This is how you make impact as a Logistics SpecialistAs a Logistics Specialist, your daily goal is to work with your team to handle tasks such as picking products in our warehouse and managing inventory. Because achieving daily production goals is second nature to you, you will also focus on continuously improving the logistics process and working methods. You will be part of the Multidisciplinary Improvement Team, where you will apply various LEAN principles to make your team work even more effectively and efficiently. You will work closely with your fellow team leaders from the production departments and report directly to the Unit Manager.
Your daily responsibilities include: Achieving targets agreed upon KPIsManaging external logistics service providersActively contributing to efficient and productive collaboration within the warehouse teamsIdentifying and escalating issues regarding deliveries in a timely manner and ensuring these are resolved within the team as much as possibleAssigning personnel to the right positions and introducing new employees within the teamImplementing and adhering to applicable rules, standards, and proceduresConducting coaching and improvement discussions, including evaluations and performance reviews, with your team's employeesAdditionally, we require: A bachelor's degree of education or technical college Diploma for working and thinking level2 to 3 years of proven experience in a logistics role is an advantage, but ambitious bachelor's graduates are also welcome to applyKnowledge of and experience with LEAN manufacturing is a plusProficiency in English, spoken and writtenWillingness to work in two shifts or staggered shiftsFull-time availability
