This is how you make impact as a Logistics SpecialistAs a Logistics Specialist, your daily goal is to work with your team to handle tasks such as picking products in our warehouse and managing inventory. Because achieving daily production goals is second nature to you, you will also focus on continuously improving the logistics process and working methods. You will be part of the Multidisciplinary Improvement Team, where you will apply various LEAN principles to make your team work even more effectively and efficiently. You will work closely with your fellow team leaders from the production departments and report directly to the Unit Manager.
Your daily responsibilities include:Achieving targets agreed upon KPIs.
Managing external logistics service providers.
Actively contributing to efficient and productive collaboration within the warehouse teams.
Identifying and escalating issues regarding deliveries in a timely manner and ensuring these are resolved within the team as much as possible.
Assigning personnel to the right positions and introducing new (flex) employees within the team.
Implementing and adhering to applicable rules, standards, and procedures.
Conducting coaching and improvement discussions, including evaluations and performance reviews, with your team's (flex) employees.
