**Job Description**Provides leadership and oversight to the Logistics group. Handles the inbound and outbound freight needs for company's distribution centers, warehouses, customers and other stakeholders. Strives to minimize overall supply chain costs without compromising quality or reliability of supply. Provides assistance and support for inventory management and performance improvement projects. Serves as liaison between central and regional teams, coordinates demand signals and availability among distribution network tiers, including vendors, consolidation warehouses and distribution centers.**Responsibilities*** Provides day-to-day leadership to the Logistics Team Members in support of assigned business units and / or locations.* Consistently demonstrates the highest quality customer service to DN's distribution centers, warehouses, customers and other stakeholders.* Builds trust of team members and customers with open and clear sharing of information and rationale behind approach and decisions.* Ensures compliance with expected standards, policies and procedures, with emphasis on: Safe work practices, Accurate and timely Logistics operations, High achievement of team performance expectations.* Supports efforts to drive morale improvements, set out clear work instructions, participate in corrective counseling and team member on-boarding and off-boarding.* Ensures an open dialog between the team and the key regional operatives on transportation management issues, current and potential logistical challenges.* Leads team efforts to perform truck forecasting with alignment to seasonality or business priority demands by the business.* Assists in managing transportation vendors, addressing and resolving logistical and performance issues.* Ensures the documentation and coding of late trucks.* Provides Logistics guidance to assigned Shipping & Receiving teams and other internal stakeholders.* Supports leaderships efforts to improve and expand transportation capabilities, minimize overall supply chain costs and maintaining quality and reliability.* Ensures the accurate and timely submission of all required documents and reports.**Qualifications****Required Qualifications*** Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.* Typically has 4-6 years of experience in Logistics.* Fluent business English skills (Written and spoken).* Good in Microsoft applications.* Able to understand ERP system for reporting purposes.#LI-FJ1*Brightest minds + technology and innovation + business transformation The people of Diebold Nixdorf are 23,000+ teammates of diverse talents and expertise in more than 130 countries, harnessing future technologies to deliver personalized, secure consumer experiences that connect people to commerce.
