Lorry Driver

**Key Responsibilities**:**Safe Operation**: Safely operate and maintain the assigned lorry in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition at all times.**Delivery Schedule**: Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines efficiently. Notify the dispatcher of any delays, accidents, or other incidents that may affect delivery times.**Loading and Unloading**: Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials onto and off the lorry. Ensure proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.**Documentation**: Complete all required paperwork, such as delivery logs, inspection reports.**Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers and clients at delivery points. Address inquiries and report any issues promptly.**Vehicle Maintenance**: Perform routine checks and maintenance on the lorry, including oil changes, tire rotations, and cleaning. Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance department.**Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Maintain a clean driving record and ensure the safe transport of hazardous materials if applicable.**Communication**: Maintain effective communication with the transportation team, dispatchers, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.**Qualifications**:- Valid GDL License Class E- Proven experience as a lorry driver, with a clean driving record.- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.- Strong time management and organizational skills.- Excellent communication and customer service skills.- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.**Additional Information**:- This position may involve long hours, including nights and weekends, depending on delivery schedules.**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,200.00 per monthSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay**Experience**:- Truck Driving: 1 year (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)License/Certification:- GDL Class E License (preferred)
