The LSM and Trade Zone Operations Manager is responsible for creating and executing localized marketing strategies and schedules aimed at driving sales growth and brand presence across multiple trade zones.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Zone Strategy & Execution:
Design and implement customized sales and marketing initiatives specific to each trade zone, ensuring alignment with overall business goals, brand standards, and customer engagement objectives. Lead the creation and deployment of targeted social media content and promotional calendars that increase brand visibility and foot traffic. Analyze trade zones for potential marketing opportunities and leverage customer feedback for actionable insights. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within trade zones and build partnerships to secure strategic selling locations and events. Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing activities, adjusting campaigns as necessary to suit various trade zones in order to maximize sales, market penetration, and brand awareness.
Project Infinity Planning and Execution:
Develop detailed and strategic project calendar that integrates all key initiatives and timelines under 'Project Infinity.' Plan and execute promotional activities in line with the project calendar with the operations team, ensuring each initiative is launched and promoted at the right time to maximize impact and engagement. Monitor the budget closely, oversee the execution of each initiative in the project with all stakeholders, tracking the progress of promotional efforts and adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal results.
Budget Management:
Develop, oversee, and manage the annual and monthly budgets for local store marketing initiatives. Track expenditures, ensuring marketing efforts are cost-effective and deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs). Implement corrective actions where necessary to ensure budgetary compliance and achievement of financial goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership:
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including operations, finance, suppliers, and community partners, to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with local community organizations and businesses to strengthen localized marketing efforts. Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth coordination between marketing, operations, product development, and other key departments for efficient project rollouts. Provide regular updates and detailed reports to the leadership team, identifying trends and suggesting improvements based on ongoing analysis.
Team Leadership & Development:
Oversee and develop a high-performing Operation-led local store marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability. Ensure all team members are aligned with the broader marketing strategy, providing clear objectives and guidance to achieve sales targets. Provide training and support to local staff on marketing initiatives, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies, fostering a culture of customer service excellence within trade zone locations.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Continuously drive creativity in developing operations-led solutions, with a proactive approach to identifying new growth opportunities. Partner with data and marketing analytics teams to evaluate campaign performance, analyze response rates, and implement improvements to future marketing efforts.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams with a strong focus on sales, marketing, and commercial strategy. Experience in F&B operations is an advantage.
Proven financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and P&L.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional team management skills.
Ability to develop and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Highly creative and self-motivated, with a strong ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Results-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
