M&E Assistant Manager (Yearly Contract)

ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be responsible to ensure the execution and completion of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) components at assigned construction sites are in accordance to approved designs / specifications.
WHAT YOU WILL GET IN RETURN: Positive & Supportive Working EnvironmentCompetitive Remunerations & Flexi-BenefitsContinuous Learning Opportunities WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO: Supervise, control and coordinate all M&E works at construction site to ensure smooth execution.Coordinate M&E services with other trades on site.Liaise with M&E contractors on their works and builder's / main contractor's works.Perform quality control check on M&E works and report any non-conformance.Liaise with all parties involved in the assigned project, including consultants, contractors, etc.Review M&E contractors' proposed shop drawings and highlight non-conformance to consultants / Management.Prepare daily site diary and relevant records for M&E works.Conduct site valuations for M&E works with consultants' representative for contractors' progress claims.Review method statement and operation activities for M&E works prior to and during work progress with the objective of identifying weaknesses and safety deficiency.Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time. DESIRED QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES: Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.Minimum 8 years of M&E technical experience with main contractors or subcontractors.Experience in high rise building is an added advantage.Good understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact with people at all levels.Able to accept contract employment (yearly renewable basis).Willing to work 6 days per week.
