**Key role and responsibilities**:- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for maintenance activities.- Develop, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all production equipment, including scheduling and executing regular maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.- Supervise the maintenance team in performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the effective maintenance of all plant equipment.- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.- Conduct regular inspections of production equipment to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner.- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with machinery and equipment.- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of spare parts and equipment.- Coordinate with production supervisors and plant managers to schedule maintenance activities and minimize production downtime.- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.- Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives for the plant.- Ensure that all maintenance activities are documented and tracked in the maintenance management system.- Ensure that all maintenance equipment and tools are maintained in good condition.- Provide leadership and support for continuous improvement activities related to maintenance.- Monitor and analyze maintenance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.- Monitor and control maintenance expenses to ensure that they are within budget.- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses.- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in the maintenance department.- Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.- Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations and company policies.**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shift- Holidays- Monday to Friday- On call- Rotational shift- Weekend jobsSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Batu Pahat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- factory maintenance supervision: 3 years (preferred)**Language**:- Bahasa Melayu, English / Mandarin (preferred)Shift availability:- Day Shift (preferred)- Night Shift (preferred)- Overnight Shift (preferred)
