Machine Operator

Responsibilities:  Operate and maintain laser cutting, turretpunching, and bending machines in accordance with safety, quality,and efficiency standards.Read and interprettechnical drawings and work orders to determine job specificationsand requirements.Set up machines with thenecessary tools, materials, and settings for productionruns.Monitor machine operations to ensureprecision and quality, making adjustments asneeded.Perform routine maintenance on machinesand report any malfunctions or issues to thesupervisor.Follow production schedules andmeet daily output targets in line with Key Performance Indicators(KPIs) set by management.Track and reportproduction metrics such as cycle time, downtime, and machineefficiency.Collaborate with team members toensure consistent quality and minimize rework orscrap.Participate in continuous improvementinitiatives aimed at optimizing machine performance and reducingwaste.Ensure workstations and the shop floorare kept clean and organized.Comply with allhealth, safety, and environmental regulations in the workenvironment.Perform any other duties or tasksas assigned by the superior from time totime. Requirements:  Minimum SPM or equivalenteducation.At least two years of experience insheet metal fabrication or a relatedfield.Proficiency in operating machines suchas laser cutters, turret punches, and bendingmachines.Ability to read and interprettechnical drawings and work orders.Strongattention to detail and qualitycontrol.Ability to work independently withminimal supervision.Good problem-solvingskills and ability to make quickadjustments.Physically capable of handlingshop conditions, including moderate noise levels and exposure tometal dust particles.
