Machinery Mechanic

Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment including jaw crushers, conveyor belts, forklifts, excavators, dumpers, and gear reducers.
Perform regular maintenance to ensure all machinery operates efficiently and safely.
Conduct cutting and welding tasks using oxy-fuel cutting techniques (oxygen, acetylene, propane).
Identify and replace defective parts or components in machinery and systems.
Interpret and work from mechanical part drawings for accurate repairs and assembly.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
Adhere to workplace safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience in repairing and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment.
Proficiency in oxy-fuel cutting techniques (oxygen, acetylene, propane).
Familiarity with mechanical systems, components, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical part drawings (preferred).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
