Machining Operations
Set up and operate various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines.
Interpret and analyze blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
Adjust machine settings and tool paths to produce parts that meet quality standards and tolerances.

Quality Control
Perform regular inspections of machined components using precision measuring instruments (e.g., callipers, micrometres, gauges).
Identify and rectify any machining errors or defects, ensuring adherence to specifications.
Maintain accurate records of production runs, quality checks, and machine maintenance.

CNC Programming and Setup
Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs based on engineering specifications and production requirements.
Set up and calibrate CNC machines, including tool selection and workpiece positioning.
Troubleshoot and resolve any programming or operational issues during machining processes.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Conduct routine maintenance on machining equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
Identify mechanical issues and perform troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with maintenance personnel for major repairs or modifications to machinery.
5.
Safety and Compliance
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines during machining operations.
Participate in safety training and contribute to maintaining a culture of safety within the workshop.
6.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with engineers, quality control personnel, and production staff to achieve production goals.
Provide feedback on production processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
Assist in training and mentoring junior machinists or apprentices as needed.
Requirements:
Education : Diploma or certificate in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a machinist, with proficiency in both manual and CNC machining.
Skills :Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and materials.
Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Personal Attributes : Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
