Machine Operators (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
At this position, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. You will work with a team of professionals dedicated to innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Observe and practice machining safety rules and instructions at all times.
Ensure that personal protective equipment is worn on the production floor.
Proper handling of production machines, tools, and equipment.
Prepare raw material upon receipt of production orders.
Ensure machining jobs meet or are within set accuracy requirements.
Issue components, assemble, and test cylinders as per set procedures and instructions.
Carry out scheduled maintenance activities.
Perform receiving inspections when stock is received.
Report any rejects, damages, shortages of goods, tools, or abnormalities to the department head.
Other related matters.
Practice and comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA), Section 24 - General duties of employees at work.
Handle scheduled waste in line with Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005 and its guidelines.
Perform other assignments as required.
Participate in activities/events assigned by the company (e.g., Annual Stock Take, Product Exhibition, etc.).
Requirements:
Minimum SPM/STPM or equivalent with a certificate in General Machining.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. On-the-job training will be provided.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
