Software Developer (Magento 2)
ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with different internal departments to discuss and build solutions for the needs of the customer and company.
Building, configuring and managing Magento 2x eCommerce website and apps along with 3rd party integrations and database management.
Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices.
Designing and developing themes and interfaces.
Updating website features and security patches.
Setting performance tasks and goals based on modules/solutions along with proper technical documentation as and when required.
Troubleshooting issues related to integration, operations etc. as and when required.
Reviewing and improving current processes and documentation.
Providing insight and effectively communicating with colleagues and clients how solutions will be implemented.
Establishing code review and testing processes for improved product/project delivery.
Proposing improvements to our existing processes and automated tools in order to improve the team's speed, quality and efficiency.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Advanced knowledge of Magento 2 software development and performance optimization along with basic JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL is required.
Hands-on experience with Web APIs preferably with SOAP, RESTful and WSDL is required.
Understanding of modern UI/UX trends for both web and apps, PWA, GIT/SVN, JIRA, SDLC practices and DevOps mindset. (Preferable)
A track record of building scalable, high-quality systems in cloud and hybrid cloud environments to support consumer business. (Preferable)
Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, SEO, Google Analytics, PPC, and A/B Testing. (Optional)
AWS cloud architecture knowledge. (Optional)
Remain informed of current trends and technology developments.
Strong problem solving, debugging and testing skills.
Strong communication skills and experience with technical documentation.
Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks and projects at one time.
