Mainframe Developer

**Short Description**:**Job Responsibilities**:- **Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to existing systems.**:- **Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues, ensuring timely resolution and mínimal impact on business operations.**:- **Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in mainframe development, recommending and implementing process improvements as needed.****Qualifications**:- **Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.**:- **Minimum 5 years of experience in mainframe development, with a focus on banking and cards processing.**:- **Experienced with cards related projects.**:- **Proficiency in programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM and CICS.**:- **Knowledge in JAVA API, Easytrieve, REXX, SAS, ABEND AID, FileAid, Endeavor, Expeditor would be added advantage.**:- **Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.**:- **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.**:- **Banking industry certifications (e.g., Certified Banking Professional) are desirable but not required.
