Coordinate with peers and section heads to overcome difficulties and problems encountered.
Check on machines and electric panels, including sub-station.
Ensure all machines work in good order and are safe to use.
Discuss with Production Supervisor to ensure smooth production.
Attend to breakdowns of machines, motors, or electric panels.
Responsible for downline maintenance staff – technicians & boilerman.
Responsibilities include auditing machinery and planning schedules for preventive and corrective maintenance.
Prepare and update overseas spare parts inventory, documenting it monthly for auditing.
Arrange safety meetings, conduct safety audits at machinery and plants, and prepare minutes after meetings.
Obtain and arrange for the renewal of Fire Extinguisher and Digital Weighing Certificates, and arrange for annual verification.
Ensure electrical installations in the plant comply with safety requirements set by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
Arrange and follow up on annual factory and machinery inspections conducted by JKKP.
Coordinate with supervisors for machinery parts wear and tear replacements.
Follow up and arrange for acting and relieving to ensure smooth production operations.
Get multiple quotations for comparison and seek low prices for purchasing or installation.
Look for cost-saving opportunities whenever possible.
