Maintenance Manager

Job Responsibilities : 1.  Technical/ Functional Expertise Production machinery and equipment upkeep and maintenance. To ensure plant machineries and equipment are in good condition to support operation.Plant and building upkeep and maintenance. To ensure facility and utility support equipment in good condition to support operation.Adherence to rules and regulations in Fire Certificate, Safety and Health, Environmental, Energy Commission and others.2. Result Orientation Assist in budgeting of repair/ maintenance system and activities.Responsible for continuing improvement of existing facilities and machineries to achieve better production yields.3. Planning Execution Active participation in cost in capital expenditure, operating cost, quality Improvement  and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) projects.Responsible to set-up proper documentation on preventive and breakdown maintenance activity.4. Team Work & Collaboration Liaise with other department such as QA & QC for quality monitoring.Work with production to achieve output and productivity.Plant asset monitoring with coordination from account and costing department.5. Problem Solving Cost Down activity such as sustainability activities in electricity, water and other consumable parts.Upgrade machinery and equipment towards automation and productivity improvement.6. Continuous Learning Arrange necessary training for team member in technology, competency and safety & health.Sharing knowledge and experience with team members in technical, rules & regulations and safety& health.7. Others To perform other duties as assigned by Management from time to time. Requirements : Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree or Professional Certificate in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Industrial/Mechanical) or equivalent.Possess high standards of integrity and personal work standards – strong knowledge, experience and skills in cross-cultural negotiation and business environment.Proactive, self-starter and capable of managing multiple projects / priorities at once.Able to think out-of-the-box, drive dynamism & encourage new ideas.Excellence planning and project management skills are desired.Innovative proven track record and strong technical know-how.Excellent interpersonal skills, strong and focused leadership, and sociable team player.Strong communication skills.Computer Literacy : Microsoft Office (Words, Excel & PowerPoint)Minimum 5 years of solid Engineering working experience in a manufacturing environment.
