Roles and ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage VAT MY Plant 1A & 1B Building Services such as:
Building Maintenance & Civil Structural Works, including repair and maintenance of existing buildings.
Janitorial services, including cleaning and maintaining the facility.
Landscaping services, including maintaining the grounds and exterior of the facility.
Pest/hygiene control, including identifying and addressing pest and hygiene issues.
Office furniture, including ordering, assembling, and maintaining furniture as needed.
Transportation services, including coordinating and scheduling transportation for employees.
• Develop and implement procedures and protocols for each service area to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Monitor and maintain budgets for each service area and make recommendations for cost-saving measures where possible.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the overall smooth operation of the facility.
• RBA, ISO compliance on daily operations.
Job ExpectationsDeveloping, implementing and enforcing policies, procedures and protocols for each service area (such as Building Maintenance, Janitorial, Landscaping, Pest/Hygiene Control, Office Furniture and Employee Transportation) to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Creating and managing budgets for each service area, making recommendations for cost-saving measures where possible.
Compliance with all applicable VAT MY Safety and Security Protocol regulations.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure the overall smooth operation of the facility.
Managing and supervising services provider staff to motivate and ensure the highest level of performance.
Monitoring and improving customer satisfaction and service levels.
Conducting regular inspections for each building services area, identifying opportunities for improvement, including addressing all challenges and issues that may arise.
Overseeing the maintenance and repair of relevant equipment and facilities.
Maintaining accurate records and reports related to facility building services operations.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve facility building services.
Zero interruption to plant daily operation which directly or indirectly caused by the building services.

Key Competencies and SkillsBachelor's degree in engineering/Facilities management, business administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
3+ years of experience in facilities management, with a track record of success in managing multiple service areas.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good teamwork and interaction with stakeholders.
Good track record of setting up building services processes, procedures, execution and management in a multi-plant environment.
Quick and accurate decision maker and takes responsibility for all decisions made.
Good report writing & communication skills and can work well under pressure.
Computer literate.
Analytical thinking skills: Analyzing data and reports related to the performance can help identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Special Skills (such as special certifications)Project Management (Fundamental) Certification: Ensure the ability to plan, organize and manage projects effectively, including managing budgets and timelines.
