Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist guests and do whatever it takes to ensure guest satisfaction.
Inspect all operating systems and components of the property to ensure they are operating properly.
Promptly respond to front desk reports of guest problems or concerns, informing the front desk when action is taken.
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, or make recommendations for repairs of all property components and furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Advise if an external contractor is needed.
Monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies in order to perform duties.
Maintain all storage areas and maintenance/repair areas properly.
Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures as required to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees and guests.
Remain ON-CALL as scheduled to respond to emergency guest and property issues that may arise.
Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters so prompt action can be taken.
Other duties as assigned.
Job RequirementsMinimum SPM or equivalent.
Must be able to communicate in Malay, and English as an added advantage.
Added advantage if you have working experience as a building/facilities maintenance technician or skilled trade within a hotel/condo.
Ability and willingness to work off/varied shifts/weekends, as required.
Knowledge in air conditioning servicing, repair & troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
