Job Responsibilities:
Oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the plant shop floor machines.
Repair and maintain the mechanical and electrical conditions of machines, operational equipment, and safety equipment by keeping a routine servicing schedule.
Lead and manage vendors to meet the requirements of local regulations and standards.
Follow up on equipment and machinery maintenance procedures and ensure implementation (e.g., Daily Machine Checklist, Periodic Maintenance Schedule).
Carry out routine inspections of the facilities and machinery as part of the Total Preventive Maintenance program.
Manage and monitor all equipment and machinery inventories, movement, and maintain a Repair and Maintenance Log Book for tracking.
Monitor expenses and control the budget for repair and maintenance.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machines, operational and safety equipment.
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness at the workplace is maintained at all times.
Follow waste and chemical management procedures and practice proper waste disposal.
Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial), or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
Added advantage for 2 years in a related field in plastic manufacturing. Must be able to speak, write, and read Mandarin, English, Malay, and be computer literate.
