Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing work orders for corrective and preventive maintenance according to maintenance scheduled, electrical minor repairs, and line design movements as required.
Also perform electronics equipment repairs and electrical installations, analysis and installation of electric control components, Must to have knowledge in PLC, knowledge repair molding machines and peripheral equipment, repair inkjet printers and jet calibration.
Maintenance technician C is responsible for execute to support engineering department on the development of specialized equipment, implementation of improvements with focus down time reduction, supporting improvement projects.
Technician Level A, B, C, D. The maintenance technician D is responsible for multiple highly complex major projects requiring innovative original solutions where results are key to successful completion of major projects.
Work mostly independently with minimal supervision.
Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve, with minimal downtime to production.
High knowledge in solving problems with most of the equipment in the plant.
Strong TPM knowledge, Analyze Maintenance Reports.

Duties & Responsibilities: Following to quality system and good manufacturing practices.
Performs routine maintenance on equipment as requested by Maintenance Supervisor and perform work orders for corrective and preventive maintenance.
Executes preventive maintenance on equipment according to maintenance schedules.
Support to production lines, with focus to maintain product quality and equipments working in good conditions.
Report unsafe working conditions to area supervisor.
Maintain backup equipments in good conditions and properly working when required.
Maintain safety devices of equipments working in good conditions and properly.
Installation and modification of manufacturing lines.
Basics electrical installations.
Performs Electronic equipment repairs, power supplies and general electronic.
Assembly and wiring for industrial equipment.
Failure analysis for electric test equipment.
Maintain molding machine working in good conditions.
Maintain molding dryers working in good conditions.
Execute electric control installations.
Support on the design of new equipments.
Execute and installation of electric control systems.
Propose improvement development ideas to cost reduces and improvement projects.
Analysis and programming in PLC.
Analysis and repair Inkjet printers.
Supporting on automation of equipment.
High support on the design of new equipment.
Suggest improvement to preventative maintenance, high knowledge in troubleshooting and repairs to different equipment.
Apply preventive measure to reduce the risk of future problems.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 3 year minimum in maintenance.
Must possess good communication skills, and be able to interface with all levels of employees within the organization.
General mathematical skills.
Electronic equipment reparation experience, soldering iron experience Automatic equipment failure analysis.
Experience in Molding machine, chillers and dryers.
Experience in electric control.
Experience in electrical test.
Experience in molding machine and peripheral equipment.
Experience in the manufacture of pneumatic presses, inkjet printers and the development of safety equipment in these equipment.
Experience in control systems and PLC.
Experience in costs reduction projects and improvement projects.
5 years minimum in maintenances areas.

Education: 3 years of ascertainable experience in maintenance area with strong electromechanical systems knowledge.
Electromechanical Technical Degree or Incomplete Engineer career (4th semester or higher) and 3 years of ascertainable experience in maintenance area with strong electromechanical systems knowledge.
Verifiable experience in molding equipments, dryers, chillers, and thermolators Verifiable experience in knowledge of Inkjet systems.
5 years of ascertainable experience in maintenance area with strong electromechanical systems knowledge.
Technical Degree in electronic, mechanical, electrical or Incomplete Engineer career (4th semester or higher).
Strong experience in automatic and pneumatic equipment.
Strong knowledge in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
Physical requirements/Work Environment This position primarily works in indoor facilities.
It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking.
It may stand for extended periods walking in the facilities.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 Kg, and climb a vertical ladder.
Must have knowledge of work on hot surfaces, because you will have direct contact with molding equipment with high temperatures, have knowledge in the use of personal protective equipment for solvents.
The Maintenance Technician may only use hand tools, impact tools, hand saws, hand drills, hammers and low risk equipment.
The use of all equipment and accessories that represent a high risk such as bench cutting tools, electric cutting saws, manual bow saws, etc.
is prohibited.
Always using personal protective equipment where applicable for the execution of maintenance activities.
