Job Summary:
Technician Level A.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing work orders for corrective and preventive maintenance according to maintenance schedules, electrical minor repairs, and line design movements as required.
Technician Level A, B.
Also performs electronics equipment repairs and electrical installations, analysis and installation of electric control components. Must have knowledge in PLC, repair molding machines and peripheral equipment, repair inkjet printers and jet calibration.
Technician Level A, B, C.
Maintenance Technician C is responsible for supporting the engineering department in the development of specialized equipment, implementation of improvements with a focus on downtime reduction, and supporting improvement projects.
Technician Level A, B, C, D.
The Maintenance Technician D is responsible for multiple highly complex major projects requiring innovative original solutions where results are key to the successful completion of major projects.
Work mostly independently with minimal supervision. Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and problem-solve with minimal downtime to production. High knowledge in solving problems with most of the equipment in the plant. Strong TPM knowledge, analyze maintenance reports.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Technician Level A.
Follow quality systems and good manufacturing practices.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor and perform work orders for corrective and preventive maintenance.
Execute preventive maintenance on equipment according to maintenance schedules.
Support production lines, focusing on maintaining product quality and equipment in good condition.
Report unsafe working conditions to the area supervisor.
Maintain backup equipment in good condition and properly working when required.
Maintain safety devices of equipment in good condition.
Installation and modification of manufacturing lines.
Basic electrical installations.
Technician Level A, B.
Perform electronic equipment repairs, power supplies, and general electronic repairs.
Assembly and wiring for industrial equipment.
Failure analysis for electric test equipment.
Maintain molding machines and dryers in good condition.
Execute electric control installations.
Technician Level A, B, C.
Support the design of new equipment.
Execute and install electric control systems.
Propose improvement development ideas to reduce costs and improve projects.
Analyze and program in PLC.
Analyze and repair inkjet printers.
Support automation of equipment.
Technician Level A, B, C, D.
Provide high support in the design of new equipment.
Suggest improvements to preventative maintenance; high knowledge in troubleshooting and repairs to different equipment.
Apply preventive measures to reduce the risk of future problems.
Strong analysis and programming in PLC.
Constantly develop ideas for cost reduction and improvement projects.
Strong knowledge in electronic and pneumatic systems.
Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
Technician Level A:3 years minimum in maintenance.
Must possess good communication skills and be able to interface with all levels of employees within the organization.
General mathematical skills.
Technician Level A, B:Electronic equipment repair experience, soldering iron experience, automatic equipment failure analysis, experience in molding machines, chillers, and dryers, experience in electric control, and experience in electrical testing.
Technician Level A, B, C:Experience in molding machines and peripheral equipment, experience in the manufacture of pneumatic presses, inkjet printers, and the development of safety equipment in these machines, experience in control systems and PLC, and experience in cost reduction projects and improvement projects.
Technician Level A, B, C, D:5 years minimum in maintenance areas, strong communication skills, strong experience in automatic equipment failures analysis, strong experience in electronic control, strong experience in the manufacture of pneumatic presses, inkjet printers, and the development of safety equipment, desirable experience in cost reduction projects and improvement projects, and basic English communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technician Level A, B, C, D:Industrial Equipment Experience.
Education:
Technician Level A:
3 years of ascertainable experience in maintenance area with strong electromechanical systems knowledge.
Technician Level A, B:
Electromechanical Technical Degree or Incomplete Engineering career (4th semester or higher) and 3 years of ascertainable experience in maintenance area with strong electromechanical systems knowledge.
Technician Level A, B, C:
Verifiable experience in molding equipment, dryers, chillers, and thermolators, and verifiable experience in knowledge of Inkjet systems.
Technician Level A, B, C, D:
5 years of ascertainable experience in maintenance area with strong electromechanical systems knowledge.
Technical Degree in electronic, mechanical, electrical, or Incomplete Engineering career (4th semester or higher).
Strong experience in automatic and pneumatic equipment.
Strong knowledge in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
This is a 6-day working role (Monday to Saturday), working hours – 8AM to 4:30PM Malaysia time. Overtime (OT) may be required.
Rotation shifts will apply (every 2 weeks, day and night). More information will be shared during the interview process.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
This position primarily works in indoor facilities. It requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 Kg and climb a vertical ladder. Must have knowledge of working on hot surfaces, as there will be direct contact with molding equipment at high temperatures. Must be knowledgeable in the use of personal protective equipment for solvents. The Maintenance Technician may only use hand tools, impact tools, hand saws, hand drills, hammers, and low-risk equipment. The use of all equipment and accessories that represent a high risk, such as bench cutting tools, electric cutting saws, manual bow saws, etc., is prohibited. Always use personal protective equipment where applicable for the execution of maintenance activities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
