Maintenance Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:



-Assist guest and doing whatever it takes to ensure guest's satisfaction.


-Inspect all operating systems and components of the property to ensure they are operating properly.


-Promptly respond to front desk reports of guest's problems or concerns, informs the front desk when action taken.


-Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, or makes recommendations for repairs of all property's components and furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Advises if external contractor is needed.


-Monitors and maintains an inventory of supplies in order to perform duties.


-Maintains all storage areas, and mainteanance/repairing areas properly.


-Understands and applies all property safety and security procedures as required to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees and guest.


-Remain ON-CALL as scheduled to respond to emergency guest's and property issues that may arise.


-Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters so prompt action can be taken.


-Other duties as assigned.

; Requirements:-


-Minimum SPM or equivalent.


-Must be able to communicate in Malay, and English as added advantage.


-Added advantage on working experience as a building/facilities maintenance technician or skilled trade within a hotel/condo.


-Ability and willingness to work off/varied shift/weekends, as required.


-Knowledge in air conditioning servicing, repair and trouble shooting will be added advantage.
