How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success?
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting Northern sites by ensuring strict adherence to Air Liquide's Industrial and Quality Management Systems and local regulations.
Key duties include safely executing maintenance activities within schedule and budget, inspecting equipment to ensure reliability, and assisting with plant improvements and maintenance initiatives.
Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations while preserving the environment, especially for offsite facilities.
Operate and maintain carrier gas systems and bulk delivery equipment at client sites according to procedures and instructions.
Monitor work areas for warning signals and take corrective actions to address potential malfunctions.
Coordinate with operating teams, network coordinators, and neighboring production facilities to ensure smooth operations.
Adhere to all quality, safety, and environmental standards, preventing non-conformities in site processes.
Follow HSE procedures, including the use of PPE, forklift operations, lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and working at heights.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, operational standards, and customer expectations.
Actively participate in Air Liquide and customer programs, including safety training, operational improvement initiatives, and maintenance activities.
Ensure tools and consumables are properly stored and inventory records are consistently updated.
Monitor tool conditions and report issues as needed.
Conduct quarterly warehouse stock checks and update stock master lists for incoming and outgoing parts.
Maintain timely updates for all inventory transactions.
Actively attend and be involved in troubleshooting of machinery and equipment in the event of breakdown/unplanned maintenance activity.
Provide reports on maintenance activities.
Perform maintenance planning based on Maintenance Program (MAXIMO).
Monitor equipment condition and report to superior in case of abnormality.
Ensure maintenance work is carried out appropriately and on time.
Ensure tools and consumables are properly stored and conditions are consistently updated.
Minimum RequirementsMinimum of 1 year of experience in a related industry or field.
Diploma in any engineering discipline.
Basic understanding of safety protocols and requirements.
Foundational knowledge of industrial gas process operations is advantageous.
Strong commitment and a positive attitude towards learning.
